The Local Sporting Champions program recognises talented sporting individuals aged 12-18 in the Cook electorate who have excelled in sport and represent their team at state, national and international sport championships. These grants provide financial assistance with the cost of travel, accommodation, uniforms or equipment when competing.
Applications are assessed by my community panel. There are three rounds per year.
