I was pleased to join serving and former NSW Police officers and their families at St Catherine Labouré at Gymea for Police Remembrance Day this morning.
Afterwards I headed out to the Police Memorial at Woronora to pay my respects.
This was the first time since 2019 they were able to hold the service due to COVID. As a result they paid tribute to all ex Police officers who had passed away during this time which had included my late father former Chief Inspector John Morrison OAM.
I greatly appreciate the recognition afforded by the NSW Police Association for Dad’s service and all of those who were honoured today.
