This morning it was an honour to pay tribute to police officers from the Sutherland Shire Police Area command, recognising their great service to our community.
This included the presentation of The National Emergency Medal, National Police Service Medals and a series of NSW Police awards.
It was also nice to see civilian Jono Mosley recognised for his role in rescuing an elderly man who had gone missing from a local aged care facility in the Royal National Park in May 2022. His daughter was bursting with pride.
Thanks and congratulations to all those whose service was recognised, and to all their families as well.
