It was n honour to join veterans and their families from Cronulla RSL Sub Branch at today’s Vietnam Veterans Day service at Monro Park in Cronulla.
Thanks to Sub Branch President Cory Rinaldi, Senior Vice President Paul Zaat (who read an extraordinary original poem he wrote during his own service in Vietnam) and the Cronulla RSL Memorial Club for their arrangements for today’s service and to David Kitt for his excellent address on Operation Hammersley.
Our greatest thanks goes to all of those Australians who served during the Vietnam War and to their families and friends who shared in their sacrifice.
